We are Green Inspiration Academy, a K-8 charter school, with a strong history of academic success for our students. Along with our important health and wellness initiatives and our daily commitment to the parent-teacher-student relationship, we are the oldest and longest running charter school in all of Ohio. And we are the highest performing school in the five-mile radius surrounding our Warrenville Heights area.
We have deep academic roots in our community, and we serve our students with multiple pathways to academic success. We develop trust with our scholars, and their families, and we can support diverse learning styles. Our students can have tutorial assistance in reading and math, special education including IEPs and 504s and 1:1 with principals and committed faculty.
Local high school students come and tutor our lower grades in small groups. Our middle schoolers participate in our ‘read aloud’ program with the younger children, helping them build confidence in their reading skills alongside a lifelong love for books.
Our students all enjoy weekly access to Chromebooks and online learning, as well as incorporating the best of grade-appropriate computer skills.
Our middle school has an Honors Program in grades six to eight. This distinction means the students have a different level of work as well as monthly group projects. Group projects take place during and after school and each member of our Honors Program is celebrated by our entire faculty.
The Green Inspiration Academy is a free public charter school for grades K – 8 located in the Warrensville Heights area.
